Research areas

Robotics in Assisted Living We are developing robots that provide support and companionship to individuals in domestic and assisted living environments. Our goal is to create intelligent systems that can enhance the quality of life, promote independence, and ensure safety for the elderly and people with disabilities.

Robotics in Horticulture Our horticulture robotics research focuses on creating automated solutions for protected cropping. These robots are designed to perform tasks such as planting, monitoring, and harvesting with precision and efficiency, leading to increased productivity and sustainability in agriculture.

RoboCup Soccer Small Size League Our lab participates in the RoboCup Soccer Small Size League, where we develop autonomous robots capable of playing soccer. This activity provides an opportunity for first steps into research as well as state-of-the-art real-time decision-making and multi-agent systems.
